Leslie Bradshaw on PBS / FRONTLINE’s “Digital Nation”

At the annual BlogHer conference back in July, I had the opportunity to sit down with the producers of the forthcoming Digital Nation documentary (produced by PBS / FRONTLINE) and share how social media has provided me with unique career opportunities since graduating from college in 2004.

Shares Ramona Pringle, an Interactive Media Producer for “Stories from Your Digital Nation” –

“We have just launched the redesign of the Digital Nation website (www.pbs.org/frontline/digitalnation), packed with fresh content and revamped to be more interactive and easier to navigate. Whether you’re curious about how technology is reshaping our schools, how the constant connection to your Blackberry is changing your brain, or how the military is harnessing virtual reality to train its troops, there’s something at Digital Nation for everyone living in our wired world.”

I highly recommend engaging the Digital Nation team on Twitter (@dig_nat), as well as checking out their newly designed site, where you can share what you think it means to live in a “wired world.”

UPDATE: My video is being featured by YouTube on their “People & Blogs” Homepage – what an honor (w00t w00t).

Hmm! Pretty interesting how your introduction into the whole social media world was so random. I would have thought you’d been in it much longer. :)
